Dino Melaye takes Sowore, Sahara Reporters to DSS over certificate scandal (photo)

Embattled Senator Dino Melaye has taken the publisher of Sahara Reporters, the media organisation, , one Temitope Olumuyide and the incorporated trustees of the medium to the Department of State Services (DSS).

In the petition, Melaye accused Sowore and his organisation of cyber-stalling.

It was revealed that Dino Melaye displayed the petition just hours after the Ahmadu Bello University, through its vice chancellor, Ibrahim Garba, declared him a graduate of the institution.

Melaye had, for days, fought hard to to convince Nigerians that he graduated from the department of geography in the institution.

At the Senate hearing on Monday, March 27, 2017, Professor Garba said Melaye graduated from the institution, but not with his current name.

In the petition sent to the headquarters of the DSS in Abuja, Melaye said: “I will like to draw your attention to the recent cyberstalling acts committed against my person” by the individuals he mentioned.

He described the report by Sahara Reporters concerning his certificate as vexatious.

Some Nigerians who reacted urged Melaye not to dance yet as there were many issues he needed to explain and convince Nigerians about his education and certificate.
