Why kidnappers made me their target, kidnapped me twice
Comic Nollywood actor John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu said he has been kidnapped more than once.
The actor explained how he became a target of kidnappers. He said he was kidnapped twice because his abductors thought he was rich.
To take the eyes of kidnappers off him, the actor said that he would no longer show off on social media platforms to avoid being kidnapped again.
Comic actor Mr Ibu adopts new lifestyle to avoid being kidnapped a third time.
Speaking on Emma Ugolee’s The Gist show on Hiptv Mr Ibu said he has adopted a modest lifestyle on and off the TV because of his past ordeals at the hands of these men of the underworld. He said:
“They say our job is about packaging but that does not apply to some of us again. Packaging no longer matters in the entertainment industry because of the fear of kidnappers, who could be made to believe that we are rich as being paraded on the screen.”
Meanwhile, Mr Ibu was a special guest at the ongoing Big Brother Naija show. He visited the housemates in the night when they were never expecting a guest.
Mr Ibu needs to employ the services of Fadesire Oluwatofunmi a.k.a Olu-Heavy as a body guard. He is the strongest man in Nigeria.
